Baltic electricity system is synchronized with the ENTSO-E system

We are thrilled to announce the successful synchronization of the Baltic electricity system with the Continental Europe Synchronous Area (CESA).
As of 9 February 2025, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have permanently disconnected from the Russian and Belarusian grids, reinforcing regional energy security and European integration as announced by ENTSO-E.
As EPRA Energy we are happy to contribute this success by giving technical support to Litgrid since the pandemic period via on site visits to major power plants in Lithuania for dynamic modelling and stability analysis of the power grid, parameter tuning of AVR & PSS of major power plants to improve stability of the grid, teleconferences to discuss study results, island operation tests, and so on.
