Electrical/Computer Science Engineer Intern

EPRA is a techno-park company located in Ankara; providing advanced power system engineering services in the power industry. Our expertise in power system modeling, simulations, and studies covers a wide range of power engineering disciplines – transmission, distribution, renewable energy resources, micro-grid and system protection. EPRA is working closely with all of the 21 distribution companies in Turkey in addition to government authorities and leading private sector companies in both Turkey and 13 different countries, as also international organizations.

EPRA has an internship program for talented, up-and-coming electrical and computer science engineers who would like to work for an advanced-level engineering company where technical excellence is highly valued.

Engineering interns at EPRA;

  • Work side-by-side with experienced project team leaders and senior engineering staff, and support them in the design and development of projects utilizing fundamental electrical engineering principles, theories, and techniques.
  • Get to know as project team members the activities of a company providing advanced power system engineering services in electric generation, transmission, distribution sectors, and power markets.
  • Get to learn using the state-of-the-art software simulation tools developed by EPRA and our World-leading partners like DIgSILENT and OPAL-RT.

EPRA Internship Program is an ideal opportunity for engineering graduate students and junior and senior undergraduates to gain hands-on experience in advanced engineering solutions applied to key areas like smart grids, smart cities, microgrids, renewable generation technologies, and storage technologies. The strong academic competence of EPRA will also broaden the professional horizons of engineering candidates during their internship.

What are we looking for?
  • Enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program for Electrical/Computer Engineering/Information Systems
  • Good analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven technical ability through coursework and/or work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher is strongly preferred
  • Experience with engineering software (AutoCAD, MATLAB)
  • Familiarity with the latest programming languages and platforms like Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, R, PHP, Swift, Go, TypeScript, Rust, Angular, SQL, and basic database operations is preferred
